Delivered when you need it, collected when you’re done.

Whether you're doing a spring clean, undertaking a home renovation or clearing your garden, hiring a skip from London Local Skips is the most efficient and cost-effective way to dispose of your waste. Operating across North London, East London and the surrounding areas, we offer reliable and flexible Skip Hire Services for both domestic and commercial customers.

We offer four different skip sizes to accommodate various types and amounts of waste, ensuring we can cater to all project sizes, from small clear-outs to large building projects. Our experienced and friendly team will guide you in choosing the right size skip for your needs and deliver it directly to your location.

Available Skip Sizes

  • 8 Yards Skip – Ideal for property clearance, small house extensions or general waste removal.
  • 10 Yards Skip – Suitable for medium commercial projects or medium to large domestic clear-outs.
  • 12 Yards Skip – Perfect for office/shop clearances or large building projects (bulky items and light waste only).
  • 16 Yards Skip – Ideal for larger construction projects or extensive waste removal.

How Skip Hire Works

  • Choose the Right Skip Size: Based on the scale of your project, we’ll help you choose the appropriate skip size. If you're unsure, our team can offer professional advice to ensure you select the most cost-effective option.
  • Skip Delivery: Once you’ve decided on your skip size, our team will deliver the skip to your property. We will place the skip in a convenient location, such as your driveway or private land. If you don’t have space, we can arrange for a street permit from your local council (at an additional cost).
  • Fill the Skip at Your Own Pace: You can keep the skip for up to 2 weeks, allowing you to clear your property or complete your project at a pace that suits you. During this time, you can load the skip with non-hazardous waste, including furniture, construction debris, garden waste and more.
  • Collection & Disposal: Once you’ve filled the skip, simply give us a call and we’ll arrange a convenient time for collection. We’ll then take the waste away for responsible disposal, recycling as much as possible to reduce environmental impact.

If required, we can also provide special lights and covers for the skip to ensure safety and compliance with local regulations.

1. Driveway Access & Damage
If a lorry is required to enter a private driveway or access road for the delivery or collection of a skip, this will be done entirely at the customer’s own risk. London Local Skips Limited will not be held liable for any damage to driveways, access roads, or surrounding property resulting from the weight of the lorry, the skip, or the load. Customers should ensure that their driveway is suitable to take the weight of heavy vehicles and fully loaded skips.

2. Overloaded or Heavy Skips
The customer is responsible for ensuring that skips are not overloaded or filled beyond the maximum capacity stated. London Local Skips Limited accepts no responsibility for damage caused by overloaded or excessively heavy skips placed on private property.

3. Poles, Surfaces & Ground Conditions
Placement of skips on driveways, poles, manhole covers, grass, or other surfaces is entirely at the customer’s own risk. London Local Skips Limited will not provide repairs, compensation, or covering materials for any damage caused.

4. Customer Responsibility
Customers must take appropriate precautions to protect their property, including but not limited to laying protective boards or mats before skip delivery. By allowing the skip to be placed on private property, the customer accepts full responsibility for any risks and damages.
